Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 8, 2026
CredSide (“we,” “us”) helps consumers review credit report data, organize proof, and prepare consumer-reviewed dispute letters. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the CredSide web app and mobile app.
Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, and login credentials you provide.
- Credit report data: files or provider connections you choose to upload or link. You control what you share.
- Proof and journey events: documents you mark as uploaded, flag confirmations, and dispute activity you take in the app.
- Technical data: device/browser type, IP address, and basic usage logs for security and reliability.
How we use information
- Run AI-assisted review of your imported credit data
- Generate drafts and proof tracking you approve before use
- Operate billing, support, and fraud prevention when enabled
- Improve product reliability and compliance
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not guarantee credit score increases or removal of accurate information.
- We do not provide human credit repair services.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us operate CredSide (hosting, authentication, payment processing when enabled) and when required by law. Dispute letters are generated for you to mail — we do not send them to bureaus unless you explicitly choose a future mail-assist service.
Retention & security
We retain account and report data while your account is active and as needed for legal compliance. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls on production systems.
Your choices
You may request account deletion or export by contacting support@credside.org. You can stop uploading reports at any time.
Children
CredSide is not intended for users under 18.
